We cannot thank you enough for the performance of a lifetime at our wedding! You were everything we could have hoped for and more and you all blew everyone away. Everyone commented on how incredible you were and every song you played was absolutely perfect. Having my dad sit in was extremely memorable and your professionalism flowing right along with songs you weren't even familiar with was top notch. We listened to your CD on our honeymoon and the mood was just.... in a word... ideal. We have no doubt you are destined for greatness, well, you are already there, and it's just so cool that we can say THIS woman played at OUR wedding!!

For anyone considering hiring Marlene or the full Jazz Trio, I cannot recommend her enough. I began my search for music all online. I searched through the sites of many jazz bands that advertised their services in the New England area. I was really disappointed at first - so many just sounded like a bad lounge singer with a Casio (no offense people!!) and THEN I discovered Marlene. The first song I heard on the Jazz Trio site was Summertime and from the first note I was literally blown away - I knew - this is the one. We put our wedding together in a short amount of time and Marlene was so helpful, kind and considerate as we planned the details. The day of our wedding we walked into the reception hall and some of my first words to my friends and new husband were "Oh wow! The music! Uh! The music!" and they'd smile with wide eyes like "I KNOW!". Our first dance was My Funny Valentine and Marlene's voice was like an angel's soaring around us. The band played a variety of songs that engaged every generation there. There is no question - if you are looking for some serious jazz and more at your wedding - HIRE THE MARLENE JAZZ TRIO!! Superior skills and sensibility, kind and wonderful people, simply the best. If you want to bring the quality of the Newport Jazz Festival to your wedding or special occasion, you've found the right group here.
